• Open NETGEAR GENIE App

• Setting up live parental control appears, if you already have an OpenDNS account select Yes, else click No, I need to create a free OpenDNS account.
• Click next, complete the information for setting up your OpenDNS account and again click next.
• Select the filtering level in this page, select high if you want to block adult contents or phishing attacks.
• In this step we will create a bypass account, which allows some systems to access the internet without any restrictions. On the NETGEAR GENIE status window, click Change custom settings.
• You will be redirected to netgear.opendns.com. Click Add bypass account.
• Create username password for the bypass account and click Add account. Edit filtering level of this account and set it to None.
• You can also create Add a time block which decides the time and type of filtering levels.
• Now go back to NETGEAR GENIE status and click bypass login. Enter password and you are done with the setup process.
