Troubleshooting your Netgear Router login issues

Every Netgear router is shipped with factory default settings. Sometimes the above mentioned steps might not work and you will get an error page displaying ‘Page cannot be displayed’. To troubleshoot this issue first check all the physical connections. Make sure the Ethernet cables are properly inserted in the Ethernet port. If all the connections are proper then check the IP of your router. Follow these steps:-

• Click start and type cmd. Hit enter.
• Write ipconfig in the command prompt.
• The router IP address will come in front of Default Gateway. If default gateway is blank, you are not connected to internet.
• Launch browser and enter the address present in front of the default gateway. You will be prompted to enter username password.
